We all love to scrapbook, but as time goes on we collect more and more supplies and don’t have a place to put them. Well now is the time to get your scrapbooking organized by making your own scrapbooking organizer.

Soon you will be able to keep all those fun supplies and materials in one place.

What you will need:

- A nice shelf you can clear out just for your scrapbooking space. If you don’t already have a shelf, you can pick one up at any office supply store.

- Four or five paper racks. These are the racks that you can put your documents in without folding them.

- Several medium sized bins or baskets that will fit perfectly on your shelf. (You should be able to find these at any home design store, or office supplies store.)

- Polaroid camera.

- Permanent markers.

- Some freezer bags to keep the beads, stickers and other supplies in.

- Hot glue gun.

How to set it up:

1. To begin you want to find the perfect spot for your scrapbooking shelf. Some great ideas are your home office, the basement, (providing that it’s waterproofed and not damp or wet) or your storage room.

2. Set up your shelf in it’s designated area, then get all of your other supplies ready in a good working location. Be sure to have your scrapbooking supplies available as well.

3. Label each bin for the types of materials it will hold. For example, if you have 5 bins, use one for markers, pens, glue sticks, crayons, paints, and stamps. Include other things that are along these lines. You can use more bins for stencils, paper, templates and the like.

The last bin can be used for miscellaneous supplies that don’t fit into the other categories.

4. Now it is time to put every scrapbook supply in its matching bin. Use the Polaroid camera to take a picture of the supplies. Use the hot glue gun to glue the picture to the font of the bins. This a nice way to make a photo label. If you don’t have a camera, you can always just make a label out of markers.

5. Gather your different papers and place them in the scrapbooking organizer paper racks. That way you will always have the right paper when you need it.

6. Now, place your scrapbooking organizer bins and paper racks on your shelf where you wish them to be. Voila!

Get some supplies to organize in your bins from Discount Scrapbooking. They have discounts on everything from scrapbook embellishments to scrapbook stickers.
