Outdoor living is not only wonderful but also a fantastic way to alleviate your daily stress. If you want to extend the seasons, a patio heater is what you need. Indeed, they are so unexceptional that you can find them in places such as the restaurants, bars, cafés and of course in the backyard or garden of those who revel in spending their time in their patio furniture.

Patio heater are not constructed for chilly winters though as it would require a heavy duty heater with enormous energy consumption to heat up the extreme coldness in the air. They are perfect for increasing the ambient temperature and particularly used in the evenings of late fall and early spring.

There are many varieties of patio heaters but most of them can are either powered by gas, propane, coal, wood or electricity and they are all capable of heating up fairly large spaces. The most economical patio heater is the electric ceiling heaters as they are quiet economical in many ways and most important energy efficient.

Another good thing about electric heaters is that they run soundless and require no venting. Most gas heaters always fizzle when they operate and they always require a venting system to avoid the buildup of dangerous byproducts. If it is placed in an area with sufficient of ventilation, then a venting system is not imperative. However, if you’re planning to put a gas heater in an enclosed or semi-enclosed area, you will definitely need to have proper venting system in place so that it does not become dangerous to operate it.
